At Bavarian Engines, we stand behind the quality of the BMW engines we supply. Eligible engines are covered by a warranty of up to 12 months from the date of delivery. Each eligible engine is supplied with an inspection certificate.
What’s Covered
Our warranty covers internal mechanical failure resulting from defects in the engine itself under normal use and correct installation.
What’s Not Covered
The warranty does not cover:
- Damage caused by incorrect installation or improper use.
- Overheating, lack of lubrication, or poor maintenance.
- Engines that have been modified, dismantled, or repaired without our approval.
- Damage caused by using incorrect fluids, fuels, or parts.
- Labour costs, towing charges, vehicle recovery, or any consequential losses.
Warranty Requirements
To keep your warranty valid:
- The engine must be installed by a qualified mechanic or workshop.
- The correct oil, coolant, filters, and service parts must be used.
- Any issues must be reported to Bavarian Engines immediately after they are discovered.
- The engine must not be dismantled or repaired without our written approval.
Making a Warranty Claim
To submit a warranty claim, please contact our support team with:
- Your order number.
- A description of the issue.
- Photos or videos where applicable.
- A mechanic’s inspection report if requested.
Our team will review your claim and advise on the next steps. If a warranty claim is approved, Bavarian Engines will repair, replace, or refund the affected engine.
